And they just keep coming… this week we’ve got a great mix of reviews from Moms and Chocolate connoisseurs. Read on for more.
OTHER HOOD
April 18
On Duets:
"The truffle itself is smooth and creamy and the double filling adds something different that your taste buds will thoroughly enjoy. Duets are officially in-stores. Check them out for yourself to see what you have been missing. If you love chocolate as much as I do you will definitely been in for a treat!"
On the Other Hood Favorite:
"I LOVED the chocolate truffle filled with peanut butter and Carmel. My three year old loved them all. I tried to hide them so I could have my daily indulgence but they didn’t last more than two days in my house."

On Duets:
"This is a classic confectionery pairing: milk chocolate and white chocolate. The ganache centers are satisfyingly soft, so much so that they melt readily. The blend of the flavors is quite milky with a bit of a cream cheese tang to them. For the most part it was like eating a version of a chocolate cheesecake."
On the CandyBlog Favorite:
"This Duet has a layer of creamy peanut butter and that wonderfully flavorful raspberry filling. I could eat a whole bag of these without any problem."
BRENDA’S WEDDING BLOG
April 15
On Duets:
These double-filled chocolate truffles from The Madelaine Chocolate Company are unlike anything else available today. You can indulge in two flavors at once as each flavor is paired and wrapped in smooth, rich milk chocolate.”
On the Brenda’s Wedding Blog Favorite:
“My personal fave flavors were the ones with raspberry - they were beyond decadent. The raspberry paired with chocolate and either the peanut butter (kind of like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with chocolate instead of the bread) or white truffle is such a perfect combo. My hubby leaned more towards the Peanut Butter and Caramel one as being his favorite.”
SNAK SNAK
April 14
On Duets:
Ben: "If you’re like me and try and bite it in half, then yeah – but maybe I shouldn’t have done that with the raspberry and white truffle. I mean, yeah they are liquid centers. Might need to clean laptop after this."
Adam: “Any time I hear the word truffle it automatically makes me think of a specially trained pig out in the wilderness finding mushrooms. Which makes me think “hey maybe I will need a napkin because of the dirt and general grossness of a pig” But these are truffles in the amazing chocolate filled with amazingness non-napkin if you eat them right kind of way. I left mine in the fridge a few days and then pop the whole thing in my mouth. Full flavor and no mess. That is how you snack. BOOM!”
On the SnakSnak Favorite:
Ben: “I have to go with the peanut butter and carmel combo. A simple combo I know, but it was super rich – and whatever, I’m a simple guy.”
Adam: “I’m going with the raspberry peanut butter on this one. At first when I saw that combo I laughed and was like “what genius came up with that bizarre flavor?” But upon tasting one I retracted every negative thought I ever had. It’s like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but replace the bread with the milkiest of chocolate. In fact a loaf of milk chocolate bread isn’t that bad of an idea…”

SIMPLY BEING MOMMY
April 14
On Duets:
“I was recently sent a box of the new Duets Double-Filled Chocolate Truffles and boy are they good!”
On the Simply Being Mommy Favorite:
“After trying all the flavors, I’d have to say that my favorite is Milk Truffle & White Truffle. The milk chocolate shell is simply delicious and the creamy center has just the right amount of sweetness. My children tried the Raspberry & Peanut Butter and loved it. It’s good when you find a snack the whole family enjoys.”
COOL MOMS. COOL TIPS
April 14
On Duets:
“The result of the way this perfect chocolate shell melts in your mouth, and the flavors combination is absolutely fabulous and enriching for the senses and soul. Your taste buds will be on a good cheerful high long after you have enjoyed your Duets and you will be smiling for just as long too!"
On the Cool Moms. Cool Tips Favorite: Milk Truffle & White Truffle
“It is creamy and not as sweet or sugary as what you might be used to. Superb!”
